So I'll start a revolution from my bed...
Online media has rapidly become one of the most commercialised forces in our world, with more and more of it every day attempting to sell us on ideas and products that don't serve us. The ecosystem is harmful to creators as much as to consumers, turning them into mere salespeople for the highest bidder, and us into unwilling customers. What was once hailed as the democratisation of the media has turned into another means of social stratification.
It feels more and more impossible to find quality, meaningful, content. The existing systems simply do not incentivise it. More people every day are realising that, unless something changes, we are fucked.
Be the change you want to see in the world
It is my mission to not only create the kind of media I would like to consume, but to help others on the path to doing the same. In so many ways we are walking on paths previously unknown and impossible, it is important that we help eachother find the way.
Hidden behind the oppresive corporate behemoths is an ecosystem of high quality tools available to all of us, tools that (when used effectively) can be used to create a new reality for ourselves and those around us. Read about what I use personally here.
NETV is an independent TV network broadcasting on local cable and online, I currently provide video editing services to them, from bumpers and commercials to shows like The Open Stage. It is run by a team of incredibly passionate people headed up by Andrew Roach who is possibly one of the most driven people I know.

Mostly drinking coffee and reading books, trying to figure out the secret to a good life. Occasionally I ramble about nothing much into a camera, maybe you can find some of it on PeerTube if I've found the time to edit.
